They call them bites. But I call them balls. Balls of fried chicken and garlic.

These are the 9 Garlic Chicken Bites from Woolworths. There's 9 of them. Each stuffed with garlic butter in the center. Although most of them had the butter seep out while cooking.

They tasted okay by themselves. Better if you had a dipping sauce, or served in a meal.

Prepare to air fry

Layer the frozen chicken bites into your air fryer basket. Give them enough space so they're not so crowded.

Air fry at 180°C / 350°F for 10 minutes.

Then draw the basket out and give it a shake. You'll want most of the chicken bites to be flipped.

Semi-cooked chicken balls in air fryer

The chicken is only halfway done. Return the basket and air fry for a further 10 minutes until golden brown.

Give them a minute to cool down. Then serve!

Air fried chicken bites on a plate

They taste okay. During the cooking process, the butter from inside the bites seeped away :( So they were a little dry.

Opened chicken ball, the butter, she is gone :(

Next time, I would serve them with some dipping sauce, or in a meal with mashed potato and a side of grilled veggies. But I devoured these anyway as is tradition.
